Bird Myths...

Some mean kids played a trick on little Willy Woodpecker. :(
 They told Willy that he was a vampire woodpecker.  Willie was scared.  There was only one way to tell if he was a vampire woodpecker.
Willy looked for his reflection in the water and when he SAW it... he knew he wasn't really a vampire woodpecker because everybody knows... vampire woodpeckers don’t have reflections! :)

Freezing cold temps cause school closings...

In Minnesota, the temperature got sooooo cold... that most bird school houses were closed and birds were encouraged to ..."stay at home and avoid unnecessary flying".
