Many of you out there are DYING to know how I get these photos right?  Well...I find interesting 'props' and set them outside and add a little magic dust and then sit with my camera for hours WAITING for THE SHOT I want!  I'm THAT patient!  I do a LOT to ensure I'm going to somehow get a really fun shot of a bird!  It's so fun for me!  Anyway...I found this dog statue at the thrift store and a story was in the making...  here it is...



Once upon a time, a bluebird landed on a huge pink rock.  

Suddenly, a DOG busted in on the quiet scene, out of no-where and appeared to be trying to give the bluebird a 'high-five' with it's front paw!

 The bluebird was stunned! Was this dog trying to be friends? A friendship certainly couldn't be happening out of an encounter happening out of thin air!

The bluebird flew up onto the dog's hind legs and said to the dog "Hey pal!

Where exactly did you come from?". 

The dog gave no answer, he simply pointed at his feeding dish with his snout.

 The bluebird walked his way down the dog's back until he got to it's head, looked into the dog's bowl and said..."Well I certainly don't have any food for you!"

The bluebird flew down to the dog's dish and said, "Yup...I can definitely verify the fact that your dog dish is definitely empty pal!"

Then the blue bird flew once again up on to the dog's neck and he said...

"Here's the thing pal...I absolutely, positively, DON'T LIKE DOGS so it has been my PERSONAL POLICY to NOT CARRY AROUND DOG FOOD supplies!"

Then the bluebird watched as the dog took aim on the pretty pink rock he had landed on only moments ago and felt that the conversation had definitely taken a downturn.

Bluebird Blues...

There once was a  blue faced bluebird who felt blue day and night,

The blue faced bluebird needed to find a nice place to sit after a long flight, 

One day the blue faced bluebird saw another blue face that gave him a fright,

But when he sat on the other blue face, it felt just right!

The Utterly Un-uplifting Story of the Frog and the Bluebird... (but...how cute are these pictures?)

Once upon a time…there was a frog who was a renowned gemnologist and he owned many crystals…

 A bluebird came along and noticed the frog sitting on all his BEAUTIFUL crystals!

The Bluebird flew right up and landed on one of the frog's prettiest gems!

 The IRRITATED frog said...""DO NOT SIT ON MY CRYSTALS UNLESS YOU PLAN TO BUY ONE!"

The Bluebird looked at the Frog and then looked at the crystals and said?...  "Ok...my friend now tell me this ...."Where do you keep the really EXPENSIVE gems?"

 The unsuspecting and trusting Frog whispered his answer in the bluebird's ear so no-one else could hear! Then the bluebird flew away.

The next day, a strange female bird sidled up to the frog's crystal pile.

 She practically went nose to nose with the frog and said..."Hey Frog! Do you perhaps have any expensive clear crystals for sale?"

The mesmerized frog couldn't take his eyes of the lovely girl bird. He found he had an overwhelming urge to kiss her... and she was standing SO close to him!

The frog couldn't concentrate on the bird's question as he was enamored with how cute this bird was! Then, as quickly as she had arrived, she flew away.

The next day his bluebird friend came back and landed right on his head.., the frog couldn't wait to tell his friend the exciting news..."Guess What???", said the frog!  "A beautiful bird came here to talk to me yesterday and I think I'm falling in love with her...!"

The Bluebird jumped down from the frog's head, bent over with laughter and said...

"Sorry to ruin your heart-throb moment Pal...but that 'cute bird' is my sister!  She's a gem thief and SHE DOESN'T DATE FROGS!"

The next morning, the frog realized that all his gems and treasured stones, except for two of his most treasured crystals, had been stolen by the bluebird and his sister.

The frog looked at the bluebird, whom he thought was his friend, and said..."Why didn't you steal my favorite two crystals while you were at it?"
 The blue bird said, "Buddy...you were just too easy and my sister and I felt we had to leave you with something..." 
The frog was left with this lesson...Blue birds are lovely to look at but you can't be completely sure of their motives if they stop to chat with you.
