Halloween is just a month away!
With that in mind, a NEW CHALLENGE was given to the contestants on Project Runway 2011!
Halloween is all about skeletons.
THIS Halloween, ONE skeleton is going to look positively gorgeous!
The Project Runway challenge for the 4th week in September is…
The 2011 contestants had to design a light-weight GOWN, that would move effortlessly when the skeletons float around and do their best hauntings! The outfit also had to be wearable for daytime as well as in the evenings.
AND... the gown has to make the skeleton look and FEEL absolutely beautiful!

The winning design was made by Larabelle Shasheen!
As a result of winning, Larabell Shasheen will have immunity for the entire month of October in honor of Halloween month!

The Judges all LOVED the extremely clever hat design which perfectly matched the dress.
Backstage, Larabelle said "My goal was to make the skeleton feel feminine from head to toe, and I definitely achieved that!"
Larabelle proudly sits on her model's arm. Both designer and model are quite elated as they sit relaxing in the outdoor lounge after the show.
