Once upon a time there was a sweet little bird who’s name was Dorothea Beakavitch.
Dorothea had discovered the joy of wearing lipstick but needed help in finding just the right shade to wear on her beak.
Dorothea flew to the local 'lipstick jungle' and sought out advice from a lovely fish-lipped clerk who was working at the lipstick counter.
The clerk at the lipstick counter CLEARLY had a LOVE relationship with LIPSTICK!
The clerk at the lipstick counter CLEARLY had a LOVE relationship with LIPSTICK!
The fish-lipped, lipstick clerk, who’s name was Wanda Freshwater, said, “Let me take a close up look at your feather tones so I can decide what shade of lipstick would look best with your coloring!”
Wanda then told Dorothy that she would look great in light pink tones – “Light pink would be very complimentary to your grey feathers!” Wanda told Dorothy.
"Really? You think so?" asked Dorothy?
Then Dorothy hopped up on Wanda’s back fin and said “Let me take a look at the shade YOU are wearing!”
Wanda and Dorothy had SO much fun talking about lipsticks that it resulted in them becaming best friends!
Every Thursday night Dorothy would fly over to Wanda’s lipstick stand, land on Wanda's back and then the two of them would take off to find a bird bath where they would hang out for hours.
Dorothy would bathe in the bath while Wanda swam and together they would laugh like crazy!
Wanda had hundreds of stories about the ‘bad' lipstick choices SOME customers made and Dorothy would roll over and over in the water laughing.
Wanda ended up telling Dorothy she didn't need to wear any lipstick at all because her natural beak color was 'just perfect'.
