Birds Against Loggers ...


 Millicent Barkedge took her position as a tree-hugger, seriously.
If you didn’t agree with Millicent on saving trees, she would look you right in the eye and recite her favorite tree poem…

"This tree sits here awesomely
I think you will agree
All healthy trees need to be set free
Listen to these words coming from me
I’m taking a stand, don’t you see
Please don’t cut down a healthy tree
Just let it continue to grow – let the tree be."
