Unusual woodpecker hangouts...


We followed 100 woodpeckers for one year with 100 cameras to to see where their favorite place to look for peanuts was…
And for 99 woodpeckers, the answer consistently appeared to be that they find the best peanuts, in backyard bird feeders!




But for ONE woodpecker…


The absolute BEST source of peanuts was inside the trunk of an elephant!
