Ridin' the Mechanical Dragonfly in the back yard!

One day I came outside and one of the local chickadees that frequent my back yard mentioned to me that he thought my yard was getting 'boring!" 


I couldn't believe it! So...I shopped around, and found a mechanical dragonfly! You get on the thing and I pull some levers and the dragonfly starts gyrating around in a frenzy while the birds try to stay on the thing!


I thought it was a crazy purchase but man...those birds stand in line for hours just for a chance to ride it!


It works out pretty well for me too because, half the time, the birds will be moving so fast that the fresh bird seed they have in their beaks propels out and I'm able to retrieve it and put it back in the bird feeders so it saves me money in the long run on bird seed!


The birds tell me it really provides a realistic experience for them! So far the birds I talked to said that not one of them has been able to ride a REAL dragonfly so this for them is the experience of a lifetime!


I'm pretty sure I have the only back yard with a mechanical dragon fly.  I'm so good to those birds!
