A woman
in blue was spotted using her wiley ways to attract a squirrel during a speed
dating event.
My passion is photographing birds (and other creatures) in various scenarios and then writing about what I think is REALLY happening in the photos! . Come on in and read my blog! All stories/dialogues has been created by me and ACTUAL - REAL photographs taken, by Jean Coulton, that's me too., Photos are NOT photoshopped! I hope you will enjoy every one of the quirky photos I got to take over the years! :)

Hide Your Food!
Here we see
a juvenile red-headed woodpecker hiding food in a tree crevice, under the bark
of a tree.
Word on the street is that the red-headed woodpecker has been known to wedge a live grasshopper
or beetle into a crevice with plans to eat it later!
That poor grasshopper or beetle must be thinking "This is NOT how I thought I would go out!"
Reverse Goatee - New Trend?
In a world where all
squirrels look the same….Melvin Fattail definitely stands out!
Melvin Fattail went to a
squirrel barber and got himself a REVERSE GOATEE!
These
days Melvin is so popular he finds
himself constantly retreating to small
spaces in order to get away from the
hoards of female squirrels that want to get a closer look at him!

Red winged blackbirds enjoy
fall weather because it allows them to blend into the leaves.
The art of stealth and
blending is important if a red winged blackbird wants to track any lingering insect life for
possible consumption!
